His leadership has spanned 10 countries, where he has consistently fostered collaborative, high-performing teams across diverse business landscapes.
Passionate about creating a safer, more sustainable food chain, Patrice has led prominent companies such as Biotalys to success, leveraging his deep knowledge of AgTech and Food Tech to drive innovation and growth. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 18 years with Syngenta, where he held pivotal roles including shaping the company’s science and technology strategy, forging strategic partnerships and managing licensing agreements across crop protection, biologicals, and biotechnology. Patrice also served as an Investment Manager, in Boston, at Life Science Partners, now EQT Life Sciences. In this role, he led multiple investment deals and contributed as a board member and observer for three portfolio companies, showcasing his acumen in guiding ventures toward strategic milestones.
A chemical engineer by training, Patrice received his PhD in organic chemistry from the prestigious University Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France.
