Adelya Akhatova is an Investment Manager at Clean Growth Fund, where she focuses on backing innovative companies driving industrial decarbonisation and sustainable agriculture. She represents Clean Growth Fund on the FA Bio board, bringing a rigorous commercial and financial lens to the company’s growth journey.
Adelya’s career spans commodity markets, corporate finance and venture investing, giving her a distinctive end-to-end perspective on how value is created across complex supply chains. She spent six years at Cargill, where she worked within the energy and commodity trading developing deep expertise risk management, and the commercial mechanics underpinning global commodity flows. Prior to Clean Growth Fund, she served as Vice President at Alexa Capital, where she led corporate finance mandates across cleantech and energy.
Earlier in her career, Adelya advised banking and capital markets clients at EY on derivative valuation, strategy and market risk. She holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a BSc in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
